We’re looking for reliable, compassionate nannies who are passionate about working with children.

  • Will I be an employee of The Heart State Nanny Agency?

    No, nannies are not employees of the agency. You’ll be hired directly by the family as their employee and receive a W-2. We facilitate the connection and support you through the placement process.

  • How much will I earn?

    Hourly rates vary depending on your qualifications and the placement tier selected by the family. Our nannies typically earn $20-$30 per hour. During the placement process, we’ll work with you and the family to ensure a fair rate based on your experience and the job responsibilities.

  • Do I have to pay to join the agency?

    No, nannies do not pay to join The Heart State Nanny Agency. Our services are free for nannies. Families cover the agency’s placement fees.

  • How does the agency help me find a job?

    We’ll match you with families based on your skills, experience, and preferences. You’ll receive detailed information about each family and their needs before deciding whether to proceed with an interview. We also provide resources to help you shine during the interview process.

  • Will I have to sign a contract?

    We encourage all nannies and families to sign a work agreement that describes responsibilities, compensation, schedules, and other important details.   • Do I need to pay for my own background check?
